Participants coming from outside the Schengen Area wishing to enter France must be able to submit statutory documents at the border concerning the reasons for their stay, their means of support and accommodation arrangements.
A visa is generally required, in the absence of a waiver. Waiting times for appointments and for processing applications will vary depending on your nationality and on the time of the year. Participants are advised to check whether they will need a visa and submit any visa application well in advance of the conference.
If you need an invitation letter for a visa purpose, you will be able to request it through the registration process. For participants submitting contributed abstracts, requests should be made as soon as possible after receiving notification of acceptance.
